SR Feature: Kristin and Vince

My sister got married!! A little over a month ago I was able to participate in the joining of my sister Kristin to her longtime boyfriend Vince. It was a beautiful ceremony set right in the garden area of my parent's backyard. It was so much fun being a matron of honor for the first time and also really exciting to see one of my products used in person for the very first time! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the day. Enjoy!

The garden area (which used to be our pool growing up) looked so beautiful.

Thanks for representing Stunning Runners!

Congratulations Kristin and Vince!!

What I've been up to lately!

Wow, it is almost embarrassing to me how long it has been since I have posted. Interning has pretty much taken up 99.9% of my life, which leaves me very very little time for much of anything else. But just because I have not been posting does not mean I am out of business. On the contrary, I have actually been making aisle runners like crazy! When I started Stunning Runners if was definitely off season for weddings, now that wedding season is in full bloom I am being bombarded with orders for beautiful aisle runners and candles.  Here are a few orders I have been busy with lately:

My sister-in-law Whitney asked me to make a monogram for a wedding shower she was hosting a few weeks back. Whitney was so creative and even had the monogram put on a cake for a shower, such a cute idea!

Here is a monogram I made for a bride in North Carolina:
And here is another aisle runner I made for a friend for her upcoming June wedding

Check back soon, there is more soon to come!

New to Stunning Runners: Company Logos!

I am proud to announce that Stunning Runners is once again adding a new item to our repertoire, company logos!

Now I know that this is in no way wedding related, but it is something that I have been asked for a lot lately. To be honest I was a little intimidated to try it. A company logo is extremely important to a company. It has to embody the tone of the company and give that oh so important first impression. But I am always up for a challenge.

My first company logo was made for my husband. He was really wanting a logo that he could use on all of his paperwork, t-shirts, etc. for his youth ministry. Knowing the kids and the way he runs his ministry really helped me out with the design, and here it is.

I'm pretty please with how it turned out, considering I am making something non-wedding related for the very first time. Let me know what you think, and pass this on to anyone you might think interested. Thanks!

After a brief hiatus for the Christmas holidays, Stunning Runners is now officially back and ready for this year's wedding season!

Just a quick little timeline for those of you thinking about ordering, if your wedding is in:

March- you need to order by January 1st (or soon thereafter)
April - order by February 1st
May- order by March 1st
June- order by April 1st
July- order by May 1st

You get the picture. This semester I am going to be interning full time so I will need even extra time for fulfilling orders. I hope all of you had a restful and happy holiday!

Monogram Frenzy!

Okay so I know I have been cranking out the monograms lately, but I just can't help myself. I've been finding inspiration everywhere, and these new monograms are the result. After going through my monograms I realized that I really didn't have many simple ones. Simple monograms really make a statement on a runner so the one on the top left corner is a new addition to my simple monograms. As for the others, they are a little on the fancy side, but they are still beautiful in their own right. Enjoy!

(For you Twilight fans out there, check out my shout out to Mr. Cullen himself haha...this is getting sad)

New Monograms!

Here are a few new monograms that I whipped up today. Most brides at the moment are planning their weddings for Spring and Summer of next year, so with that in mind I included some floral detailing in these new ones. I think the blue and brown one is my favorite. What do you think?

SR Feature: Amanda and Brent

I love it when brides have a theme that they include throughout their wedding. It really does tie the tone and theme of the wedding together so nicely. That's why I was completely excited when Amanda contacted me about an aisle runner. Amanda really liked my Contemporary Monogram 3, but wanted to include tulips somehow. After some brain storming we came up with the idea of taking the "&" sign out and replacing it with a tulip. I thought it was a great idea and I am completely happy with the results. Congratulations Amanda and Brent!

Here is what the original monogram looked like:And here is Amanda's monogram:And finally, here is Amanda's finished aisle runner:
